The internet is becoming increasingly available to the world population via growing communication infrastructures but this does not mean that everyone is able to make use of its full potential. If information is a type of commodity and the world wide web is its greatest distributor then many people don’t have the right currency to make a purchase.

How much does language empower or disenfranchise an individual?

Is the internet a barrier to development as much as it is a catalyst?
